Quickstart Guide

1. Find out your Character-ID and Server-ID:
   • Click on the [?] Buttons aside of the input fields
   • Enter the name of your character and click "Search"
   • Choose your character in the search result
   • Look at the URL in the address field of your browser for the corresponding IDs (numbers at the end of the string).
     Example: https://realmwar.warhammeronline.com/realmwar/CharacterInfo.war?id=234970&server=72
     So the character-id is 234970 and the server-id is 72.
2. New after server merge with US: As the official database is very slow, at least in the initial search, please make sure to view the detailed character-page of your toon at least one time directly with your browser. This serves to make sure that the official page provides your char-informations properly. However the database process on warhammeronline.com still seems very unstable as it mostly has enormous response-times and sometimes even returns just blank white pages with no information at all to parse - even when using a standard browser. So as the source of the data has this unstable behavior this is unfortunately transfered to my script. The internal cache of my script can compensate this to some extend using 3 retries at maximum.
3. Enter the IDs in the form above and click on the [Update to current IDs] button
4. Done. The corresponding URLs to your signature image are on the right

You only have to register, if you want to store individual settings/images for your signature, to choose them from the default sets or to configure your individual settings. That is necessary to protect your settings from manipulation by third party. If you are happy with the standard layout, there is no need to register at all. If you want to leave this tool, just delete your profile, i.e. you unregister again.

Due to changes of the official webpage it is no longer necessary to enter the guild id for having the guild name displayed in the signature. It is now automatically identified and displayed. Old links with guild id given in the signature image URL pointing here will still work for compatiblity reasons, but the manually given guild-id will be ignored. Instead the guild-id coming from the official database will be used. If your character is not a member of a guild, there will be no one included in your signature.
